Soldering Guide
1. Use a ink eraser pen
2. Remove transparent oxide of solder pad
3. Use solderfing flux (part # SF001-1 in Accessories)
4. Get a bit by cooton swabs
5. Apply the flux on the solder pads
6. Part list (C1,2 pale brown / C3,4,5 dark brown / L1 dark grey / C4,7 have polarity / U1 has pin #)
7. Use sharp head solderfing tip (part # ST002-1 in Accessories) on 30W soldering iron
8. Use 0.4mm lead free solder wire (part # SWLF0.4mmx1.4m in Accessories)
9. Appy solder on pin 1 solder pad of U1 as picture
10. Solder U1 pin 1 on the solder pad of U1 pin 1 position (circle mark to circle mark) and adjust U1 to the right position at the same time, then solder one pin at the opposite side
11. Use flat head solderfing tip (part # ST003-1 in Accessories) on 30W soldering iron
12. Appy solder on two un-solder side first, ant the the first two side. Bear in mind that providing sufficient time for head dissipation of U1
13.It may be too much solder on pins and made them short
14. Use 1.5mm width solder wick (part # WICK1.5mmx1.5m in Accessories)
15. Get some flux on solder wick and place it on the top of over soldering pins, then use solder iron suck them back to the wick. Don't over suck the solder
16. U1 soldering is completed
17. Use back the sharp head soldering iron and apply little bit solder on one pad of X1
18. Use SMT right angle tweezer (part # TSSMT-RA-01 in Accessories) for picking up chip components
19. X1 soldering is completed
20. Apply solder on one pad of C7
21. Re-heat the solder and pick the chip components to the pad. The chip was solder on the pad, then apply some force on the top of chip and re-heat the solder. The chip will be close touch on the surface of PCB.
22. Solder one pad of C1,2 / C4,5 / L1
23. C1,2 / C4,5 / L1 soldering is completed
24. Same procedure for R1,2,3 / R5 / C3 / C6
25. Soldering D1,2
26. Soldering D1,2 is completed
27. Soldering Q1
28. Soldering Q1 is completed
29. Soldering R4
30. Soldering CN2
31. Let 5 pins of CN2 with over soldering and then change soldering iron to flat head type.
32.Solder feets of CN2 for holding purpose
33.Suck back the over solder by solder wick with flux. Please make sure not over suck and no shorting between pins
34.Clear without shorting pins
35.Solder jumpers

36. Photo show solder short jumper for our LKC-2004-B3/C3. Please take a look LKC-2004-B3/C3 's pin out in specification. Use hole 3 to hole 18 of CN1 for single controller LCD connection. SJ1 to SJ4 are for backlight polarity, SJ5 to SJ8 are for power polarity.
For single controller LCD pin 15 = LED + and pin 16 = LED - ->(SJ1 short, SJ2 open, SJ3 short, SJ4 open). For LCD pin 15 = LED - and pin 16 = LED + -> (SJ1 open, SJ2 short, SJ3 open, SJ4 short).
For single controller LCD pin 1 = VSS and pin 2 = VDD/VCC -> (SJ5 open, SJ6 short, SJ7 short, SJ8 open). For LCD pin 1 = VDD/VCC and pin 2 = VSS -> (SJ5short, SJ6 open, SJ7 open, SJ8 short).

37. Photo show solder short jumper for our LKC-4004-A2. Please take a look LKC-4004-A2 's pin out in specification. Use hole 1 to hole 16 of CN1 for dual controller LCD connection. SJ1 to SJ4 are for backlight polarity, SJ5 to SJ8 are for power polarity.
For dual controller CN3 Upper = LED + and CN3 Lower = LED - ->(SJ1 short, SJ2 open, SJ3 short, SJ4 open). For CN3 Upper = LED - and CN3 Lower = LED + -> (SJ1 open, SJ2 short, SJ3 open, SJ4 short).
For dual controller LCD pin 13 = VSS and pin 14 = VDD/VCC ->(SJ5 short, SJ6 open, SJ7 open, SJ8 short). For LCD pin 13 = VDD/VCC and pin 14 = VSS ->(SJ5 open, SJ6 short, SJ7 short, SJ8 open).

38.There are 1.25T-2-2PWB connector in Connector and CA02A-1 cable in Accessories suit for backlight connection of LKC-4004-A2
39.Clean the flux by alcohol
40.Completed and ready for testing
